Please note: All internships are unpaid. Interns must have their own housing and transportation.
- Minimum of a college junior in a Biological or Environmental Science related field- recent graduate preferred.
- Enjoy working with the public, with an emphasis on customer service- customer service experience preferred.Â
- Capacity to learn complex tasks quickly; attention to detail; strong problem-solving abilities.Â
- Ability to work independently and in a group.Â
- Ability to relate to the public in a cheerful positive manner- strong communication skills preferred.Â
- Must be able to pass a background check if needed.Â
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Please inquire about reasonable accommodation.
- Fall (late August- December)
- Winter (late November- January)
- Spring (late January-May)
- Summer (late May-August)
*Start/end dates may be flexible based on school schedules
- Must be available to work at least 3 days per week and complete a minimum of 200 hours (on site) over a timeframe of at least 13 weeks
- One scheduled day must be on a weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
